The History of Iron and Steel

Cast iron has between 4% to 2% of carbon. Steel has between 2% and 0.8%. Wrought iron has below 0.8% carbon. This video is mostly focused on how steel and iron were initially manufactured.

I wasn't too interested in the manufacturing techniques. I guess steel is the most durable of the 3 types described. Iron tends to rust, so needs to be painted and maintained. There is another video on aluminum that seems interesting.
The end of the video contains an interesting side story about the Nepal Youth Foundation and how this channel started.
